Overview
The JFF Data Stack (the stack) is a collection of mostly free and open-source data and data integration tools designed to be self-hosted (although many may have cloud versions available) with docker. The aim is to provide a modular, low-cost, but powerful solution for non-profits like JFF, its partners, or small organizations we work with in the field. Beyond costs, applications in the data stack are chosen based on unique functionality, ease-of-use, and ability to integrate with other applications already in the stack.
Internally at JFF, thes stack is more manually deployed and maintained. It operates as something of a test-bed for configuration changes or updates which can then be integrated and ported into the "productized" version.
